Overview

Shera Bot is my most engineering-heavy repository: 637 commits across a pnpm + Turborepo monorepo with a Next.js web client, an Express control plane, and an agent-pack SDK. Agents never act directly: they propose, the runtime validates and executes, and risky work sits behind scoped, expiring, revocable approvals with five fixed choices. Every event lands in an append-only journal where live, replayed, delayed, and disconnected states are visually distinct. Per-user containers keep product state in container-local SQLite (WAL) while central PostgreSQL holds only control-plane records.

Agents Propose, the Runtime Decides

No agent action shows as done before runtime validation. Approvals are runtime objects, scoped and expiring and revocable grants with five fixed choices, so dangerous operations need explicit human sign-off.

Honest Events

An append-only event journal is the source of truth. The UI renders live, replayed, delayed, and disconnected states differently, so you always know what the system actually did versus what it claims.
